4-Matter is a disk formatting/erasing program that supports drag and drop, and different names for old and new disks. It also allows you the option of completly re-formatting old disks, or simply erasing them (which is a lot quicker than re-formatting them, and faster than the Finder). Are you someone who gets really annoyed at those people who always seem to know how many days it is until a certain event. (Hi John, did you know its only 278 more days to my birthday? Better make sure you buy me a present!). Well, if you cant beat them, join them.
Days To Go is a simple reminder program that can be used for a variety of purposes. As the name suggests, it can be used to count how many days it is until a specific date. In addition, Days To Go can be used count how many days it has been since a specific date. Recurring dates can be entered (for example, Christmas or a birthday), and entries can be automatically deleted once the date has passed (useful for once off occasions).
When you enter the date you also enter three messages (to be shown before the date, on the date and after the date). The day count is shown on the screen with the appropriate message every time you start or restart your computer.

EjectDisk is an extremely useful control panel - once you start using it you will wonder how you ever lived without it! By pressing a key combination (which you can easily change from within the control panel) you can eject floppy disks, Zip/SyQuest/Jaz disks or CD-ROM disks quickly, easily and without any hassle. No more having to drag disks to the trash to eject them!
EjectDisk is different from using Command-Y within the Finder in two ways - you can be in any program (not just the Finder) when you eject the disk, and you don't have to select the disk first. Both reasons make using EjectDisk much quicker and easier than ejecting disks the old way.
PictSize 1.1.0 - Freeware
Have you ever been designing an about box for a program you were working on, and been frustrated when you went to place pictures in the about box? In particular, does the process of determining the size of the picture annoy you? Then PictSize is for you!
PictSize is a small utility primarily for programmers, although other people can probably find uses for it as well. It will tell you the dimensions (in pixels, inches, centimetres or millimetres) and the size (in bytes or K) of any picture (PICT) currently stored in the clipboard. You can then use this information (for example) in ResEdit when placing PICTs in an alert or dialog box. You can also get information about pictures stored in files by opening the file within the program, or by dragging the icon of the file onto PictSize's icon.
ShowHelp 2.1.0 - Freeware (source code)
ShowHelp is free source code for a help system that displays styled text in a modal or movable modal dialog box. The text cannot be edited, but can be copied to the clipboard or saved as a SimpleText file. Pictures can be included by the same scheme as used in SimpleText. A pop-up menu allows the user to jump to a desired topic faster than by scrolling to it.
Originally written by James W. Walker, this version adds support for the arrow keys (as well as home/end/page up/page down) and has been modified so that it can be compiled with CodeWarrior.
Volume FKEY 1.1.1 - Freeware
Volume FKEY provides a quick and easy way to change the volume on your Mac without having to go to the Sound control panel. Volume FKEY comes with an installer program that will let you install and remove the FKEY (NOTE: the remove option will let you remove any FKEY, not just Volume FKEY). Full documentation is included in the program (just select the About item from the Apple menu).
